Inglewood Meetup

For the improve and the love of photography I joined a local "meetup" to give me the opportunity to take more pictures and learn from others. When I told my caring husband what I had done he was a little worried that I was going to be meeting up with a bunch of thugs that were going to steal my beloved camera.

Me: "So me and a friend are going to this meetup thing on Tuesday night"
Him "Where are you going?"
Me "Inglewood"
Him "How tall is your friend?"
Me "I don't know, taller then me but that's not hard to do"
Him "How big is she?"
Me "What!?!? Why?"
Him "How big is she?"
Me "She has no weight issuses if that is what you mean!?!?! "
Him "Can she handle herself?"
Me " What do you mean?"
Him "Like in a fight"
Me "Oh my, don't worry we'll be fine!"

I never did ask if he thought if I could "handle myself" in a fight :)

Anyway so I go and I got so nervous at first ( I blame Mike for putting crazy thoughts in my head) But it was fine! Everyone was so nice and friendly. When we were out taking pictures people were so helpful and willing to answer my questions as best as they could. I really had a great time. For this meetup the purpose was to play with reflections. Something I had not done too much of. Which turned out to be quite apparent as I only got one reflection shot that I really liked.

There were some very creative people in this meetup, and I'm very much looking forward to going to more. And I think Mike feels better about it too, seeing how I made it back in one piece.

Here are my favorite pictures from the night.

When I posted these on the groups webpage I got a few very nice comments.
(I'm sure they do that to all the newbie's to make sure they come back)
