Summer Recap

I feel like the saying "Lazy Summer Days" describes our summer pretty well. We did get out and go on a few trips but mostly we stayed close to home this summer

For our 3rd year anniversary we headed out to Nakusp, British Columbia. We rented a wonderful cozy little cabin and soaked in the sun and breathed in the fresh air. We loved our time there and have started dreaming of retiring in a friendly little town by a lake.

3 Years of Marriage Bliss
One thing that was absolutely lovely about this trip this that we were able to take our cute little fur babies with us. They were in complete heaven! All the new smells and spaces to run around. All our little Yorkie wanted to do all day was to fetch sticks from the lake. She sure dose love to swim. We tried to get Beast in on the fun but she would have none of it.

Our little Swimmer

As far as she would go
It was a perfect trip, and a great way to celebrate 3 years of marriage bliss. There is no doubt in my mind that I'm married to the most wonderful man in the world. He is so supportive, understanding, hilarious, considerate, handsome, kiss-able and I could go on but I don't want his ego to grow too big.

My Handsome Husband
Another little trip we made made this summer was out to Camrose to enjoy time with family. My Dad's side of the family had a little reunion. It was so nice to see and catch up with family that I have not seen in a while. Also have the world biggest bond fire was pretty awesome as well.

As always I love the summer and most days I wish it would never end but this year is a little bit of a different story because this winter will bring us a sweet little bundle of joy, who I can not wait to hold in my arms.
